Continue to practice with article, noun, adjective number (singular/plural) agreement. Quiz on same (class voted to take today). viernes: SER review, additional notes and examples, and activity 19 on page 53. You spent the last ten minutes copying the paragraphs so you could fill them in with forms of SER, so yes, this is homework! I know it's the weekend, but this should take all of five minutes to complete. lunes: Vocab practice, page 50.
martes: Start creating Vocab Palabras 2 crossword puzzle. miercoles: 1/2 day. Continue to work on Palabras 2 crossword. jueves: Finish and exchange Palabras 2 crossword. Complete partner's puzzle. Give yourself a 3-column spelling quiz through quizlet. viernes: 3-column spelling quiz and study time. Vocab quiz on Monday. lunes: CH 2 vocab: Continue to work on flashcards until finished, then begin to use them to study, alone or with a partner. Keep in mind your requirement for flashcards for this chapter is 32. There are many more that you need to know (see page 73). Most of the words in this chapter are cognates and should be easy to recall with a little practice. However, if you want to make flashcards for every term, please do so. Otherwise, make sure from time to time, during study time in class AND at home, you are covering all of the words by studying on quizlet.
martes: Pages 44-45, copy and translate anything in a complete sentence. Learning to use SON, a plural form of SER. REMINDER: Chapter one retake is TOMORROW, Wednesday, May 3. Your ticket to retake the test is your original test with test corrections complete. Remember, complete means there is some rationale, justification, explanation for every item you got wrong. I need to know that you understand what you did wrong so that you would be more likely to get this or a similar question correct next time. miercoles: Continue to work on 44-45. Add questions on page 46. Chapter one retake is being postponed until tomorrow. jueves: Chapter one retake. Go over all work from this week. viernes: Pages 48-49 introduction and notes. lunes: Chapter 1 review. End of chapter assignments: p. 28, p. 31, pgs. 38-39. Copy and translate review sentences on screen, and make a personal list of what you needed help with (for example, what you had to look up or ask a classmate about) for each sentence. This creates an individualized study guide for you! Study this material and ask questions about anything you don't understand.

CH 1 test corrections are required in order to retake the test, which will be next week Wednesday. viernes: CH 2 vocab intro continued. Begin making flashcards. lunes: Go over Thursday's vocab quiz. Go over grammatical concepts we will be covering this week; there are three of them, and we will have a quiz on each of them THIS WEEK because we already know them, so in order to be ready for the quizzes we simply need to do some review activities. The first quiz will be tomorrow and deals with articles: el, la, un, una. You should know what they mean and when to use each. Which are definite and which are indefinite? Why are they classified this way?
